Diary of a Madwoman
|
The "Diary of a Madwoman" series will focus upon
the adventures of Mary Louise Swafford, a decidedly odd young vampiress who's
made guest appearances in various Hollywood Vampires stories over the years, and who's gotten a rather positive response from
many of you. So for all of you Mary fans out there, here's an ongoing
series chock-full of the Spice Girls-inspired vampiress to entertain yourself with,
and I plan on at least three stories in the series, if not more. Like the
"Pathway to Darkness" series, each story will be complete and
self-contained, but will also form part of a bigger story as well, so don't
worry, you're not going to be left hanging for months on end, wondering what the
hell's going to happen next.

Diary of a Madwoman -
Little Girl Lost Mary's first tale, "Little Girl Lost," finally sheds some light on Mary's origins and helps to give an idea of why she is the way she is . . . but at the same time, it generates even more questions! Well, you didn't think I was going to answer EVERYTHING all in the first story, did you? Enjoy! Special thanks go to Anthony Todd for helping add authenticity of Mary's Brit-isms, as well as Mark Pogo from Australia and Stephen Lebeck from my own hometown for beta-testing the tale and kindly offering their comments and thoughts. And finally, I'd like to dedicate this story to Pete Benes, who thinks Mary's really cool.

Diary of a Madwoman - A Madwoman Scorned Further delving into the mind of young Mary Louis Swafford, "A Madwoman Scorned" explores the vampiress' struggle to not only deal with losing her mortal boyfriend, but also the fear that she is, in fact, crazy as a loon. Unfortunately for Mary, it seems as though her fears are well-founded . . . and whenever she discovers that all was not what it seemed with her old boyfriend, all hell breaks loose. Hell hath no fury like a madwoman scorned, believe that!
